This is where the rubber hits the road, where you start having to make changes that lead to a long term improvement in your mood. Again you have measured your strengths and this tells you where you can make improvements. Overall it is best to have a more or balanced KeyStar. You may for example have some excellent strategies, you may have a good education, a good job and be making financial headway. Your physical health may also be excellent. However, this alone won’t make you happy! Because we as humans need more than that, we need relationships, to feel part of something that is greater than ourselves, to have a purpose in life, to live in a place that is safe and healthy, and to be able to express our unique selves.
The Question is
What has to happen to make each area a 5?
This means reflecting on how life might be in each area, where might you live, are you a townie or a country lad or lass at heart? What is your purpose? How do you want to be remembered?
The answers change, as one aspect of life improves others look different, it is an iterative process that needs repeating. Working on a detailed KeyStar every six months will help keep you focused towards being the best you can in every area of your life. It is difficult for each person to know or express their full potential, we all have an abundance of talent. Nonetheless, without some focus and hard work, it is too easy to squander those resources we do have.
